Battlefield 6 Players Really Talking About The Beta Maps and Snipers

Battlefield 6 players just had their first big taste of the game with the open beta. And man, they are talking! Lots of people played it, breaking records they say. But two things are coming up again and again that players are not so happy about.

The first big thing?

Players are saying the maps feel too small. Like, really small.

There are three maps in this beta test, and many players think they all feel kinda cramped.

This means you are fighting all the time, no time to think or make big plans.

It’s funny because the last game, Battlefield 2042, had the opposite problem. Back then players complained the maps were too big and sometimes felt empty.

Of course, not everyone hates small maps. Some players remember that old favorite maps like Seine Crossing and Grand Bazaar were also small and people loved them.

Other players think maybe the problem isn’t just the size.

Maybe its how you move around the map or where the fighting happens that makes it feel bad.

Then there is the map called Liberation Peak.

This is actually the biggest map in the beta. But it has a different problem: snipers.

Oh man, so many snipers!

The map has lots of rocks and high places, perfect for snipers to hide and shoot players trying to move.

It got so common that people are making funny pictures (memes) showing Liberation Peak covered in little lights from all the sniper scopes.

And real pictures players are sharing show it’s kinda true!

But hey, this is why they do beta tests, right?

The point is to find these problems before the game comes out for real on October 10th for PS5, Xbox, and PC.

The people making BF6 already talked about some feedback they got.

EA also has a list of things they will fix before launch. They promised to look at all the player reports from the beta to see what else needs changing.

Good news for Battlefield 6 players: you get another chance to play this weekend!

The open beta comes back on August 14th.

This time it should have more maps and different ways to play. Will they fix the small maps and sniper problems? We gotta play and see!
